This is fantastic! I know this comment is long overdue, no pun intended (somewhat), but now I've read this (going back and forth with the footnotes was fun :D) I caught myself squeeing in several places :o) This story fitted so well in Pratchett's style, you really caught the dry/amused wit of the tone. And good Lord, the footnotes were fun!
