Title:  The Adventure of the Missing Medallion
Author: [info]capt_facepalm
Rating:
PG
Fandom: Sherlock Holmes (Gaslight)
Characters: Dr Watson, Mr Sherlock Holmes
Summary: a case comes to Baker Street
Warnings: juvenile humour
Word Count: 100
Author's Notes: July 7th prompt: Unwanted advances

I sometimes regret never having published The Adventure of the Missing Medallion. I was convalescing in our Baker Street lodgings when Holmes was contacted regarding the loss of the late Major Pelligrew’s commendation.

After a brief interview, Bingo Pelligrew came to stay with us. His pleasant demeanour was diminished only by his amorous advances upon Holmes’ trouser legs.

Within two days the missing medallion “presented” itself. Holmes was delighted and asked me if I wished to examine it. I was not so unwell as to realise it was a ploy to have me clean it and so I politely declined.

.oOOo.

A wise decision indeed Watson.

Did Mrs Hudson have any comment about Bingo's stay?

Haha!

Poor Holmes didn't expect Watson to get wise to his tricks. :P

Watson, you clever man!

And I can totally see the face of Holmes at the "amorous advances" made upon his trouser legs!

Thanks! I'm sure Mrs Hudson was not amused, especially when she discovered who had been watering her aspidistras.

Thanks! Even when he is not at his best, Watson is a worthy match for this type of thing.

I'm sure you did! And I, and others, I'm sure, enjoyed reading it ;)
