'Well enough, Cheetah. This climate is always too cold. Where's Adder by the way?'
'Didn't you hear? He's in gaol. He bit old Rotten Roylott last night.'
'So that's what that kerfuffle was all about. All that shouting and goings-on. Woke me up it did!'
'Yeah. And Adder is in rough shape. The peelers beat him with a stick before they locked him up.'
'Couldn't be the official police. They wear uniforms. Those blokes were dressed as gentlemen. I suppose Roylott didn't last long.'
'Nope! Serves him right for exploiting Adder's drinking problem.'
