I only wish I had joined earlier because it seems that a couple of years ago, it was a very nice, smallish, friendly comm. Now they have over 500 members, but the atmosphere is not as friendly. A shame, really.
Could that be a sign of fatigue due to the glut of BBC Sherlock generated fan fiction? It is useless to speculate.
I could go on lamenting the sparce supply of good, old fashioned, gaslight stories, or I could just get over it and come to the realisation that people all have their own preferences and that at this time, BBC Sherlock is 'the bomb' (or at least, the semtex).

Date: 2011-04-16 07:29 am (UTC)And I don't think you could blame that on the BBC Sherlock semtex, as what it does is to bring more people into the fandom-more writers and talent- that may develop from simply liking the mini series to reading the original books.
I do have to say that the reason why I'm here is thanks to Ritchies' movie and JL and RDJ.
