‘Is that so? Well, you are the writer amongst us, so I look forward to your tale Watson.’
‘It involves an ancient dispute over treasure between pirates and Asiatic assassins.’
‘Doctor, that the largest load of hooey I’ve ever heard.’
‘You don’t believe me?’
‘You best come up with something better.’
‘Would you believe Mr Holmes vowed to maintain his client’s anonymity, and I give you my personal word that he was not involved in this crime?’
‘Aye, Doctor. Your word is something I will believe.’
