‘Watson, please pay attention to those little girls skipping rope. Listen very closely,’ said Mr Sherlock Holmes.

We remained amongst the shadows and I strained to hear their happy chirping.

Bluebells, cockle-shells,
Eevy, ivy, over.
My mother sent me to the store,
And this is what she sent me for:
Tube, charing, cross, pepper

‘Wait, did they just say Charing Cross?’ I asked

‘Yes, Watson. Those children are the all-female division of the Baker Street Irregulars and they have been watching our suspects all afternoon. If we are to catch them, we should proceed to the Charing Cross Underground, post-haste.

Supplementary Notes: I was hoping to find some nefarious meaning in the skipping song like Ring-Around-the-Rosie, but alas, it's just a skipping song.
