‘Mr Holmes and the police are convinced I killed you. They’ve been turning the city inside-out all week looking for me.’

‘…am I your… p-prisoner… a hostage?’

‘No, but guest isn’t right either. Insurance is more accurate.’

‘B-But… you could have run… instead of… saving me.’

‘Hush! I hear people outside…’

‘…you should… t-try to...’

‘No. If it’s your friends, they will kill me. If it’s my enemies, they will kill you. Like it or not, we’re in this together.’
