Author's Notes: July 20th 2014 prompt: A Sudden Change in the Weather
Nearly two years after the death of my friend I was summoned to the Diogenes Club. I dare say Mycroft Holmes was not impressed at the condition of my boots nor how threadbare my cuffs had become. If he saw through my façade he was polite enough to make no mention of it.
After a generous luncheon he accompanied me to the door and asked me to wait while he retrieved something. I feared he would offer me money, however, when he returned, he presented me with an umbrella. It was a bright sunny day.
Two hours later, it rained.

Date: 2014-07-22 04:28 pm (UTC)Also, consider this: why would Mycroft need to predict the weather when he has Mycroft's Weather Control Device © (patent pending) in his secret library?
(Please pardon the cracky thought that just occurred)
