Title:  Predatory
Author: [info]capt_facepalm
Rating:
PG-13
Fandom: Sherlock Holmes (Gaslight)
Characters: Dr Watson, Mr Sherlock Holmes
Summary: Observations at a murder
Warnings: Inacurate and unfair stereotyping of big cats
Word Count: 100
Author's Notes: July 6th prompt: "Imitate the action of a tiger"

As Constable Starrett covered body of the latest unfortunate Sherlock Holmes turned to his colleague.

‘Watson, you’ve been awfully quiet. What is it?’

Dr Watson fought to put words to his premonition. He had seen something similar in India. Once a tiger tasted human flesh it does not return to goats. No longer hunting to survive, it is cunning and patient and cruel. It learns from its past and will not stop. Sometimes humans are similarly affected: murder can become an acquired taste and a game.

‘Holmes, this fiend will not stop on his own accord. He must be killed.’
