‘You were the one who told me that criminals often return to the scenes of their crimes!’
‘This would never have happened if your constables had been more reliable.’
‘Well you should know better than to involve civilians in your investigations!’
‘Have you forgotten that I too am a civilian?’
‘Hardly! Have you?!’
‘Gentlemen!’ interjected Dr Spencer. ‘Please step outside. You are causing distress to my patient.’
