‘Although I do not know his motive, I know who the killer is.’

‘I don’t follow.’

‘You see, during my three years of “travels” I crossed paths with a Siberian called Boris Petrovich. That of course was an alias. Professionally he was the assassin “The Snow Wolf”. We shared similar goals and subsequently found ourselves in a predicament which neither would have survived. Afterwards, we made a pact. He would never accept a contract on me and I would cease any investigation if I spotted his signature.’
