The pack has always preyed upon the weak. The young, the old, and the sick, are easily identified and marked for certain demise.

This time was no different. An injured one, unfamiliar with his environment, had strayed too far from the safety of his kind and the pack lay waiting, their feral eyes glinting in anticipation of the hunt. This would not take long. Their prey was lame, and quickly exhausted from the chase, was now cornered.

He snarled and postured as if he was still hale and hearty but he would be no match for their clubs and knives.
