‘Watson, come away. You’ve been staring at that painting for far too long.’

Dr Watson blinked in confusion and turned to face Sherlock Holmes.

‘Doctor, you don’t look at all well. What is the matter? Do you recognise someone in that scene?’

Receiving no reply, Holmes took Watson’s arm and gently led him away.

‘Isn't it strange?' asked Watson, ‘I mean, I was there, and I witnessed so much... and yet that painting. I don't know... The colours are all wrong and don't get me started on the uniforms. That all occurred months ago. I should be better by now.’
