Damn his eyes. Damn his constant observation, and damn me too for getting caught reminiscing. He sneaks a glance at me and knows that I know that he knows what I'm thinking. Although he will not ask, Holmes wants to know more. Years ago when he stumbled into this territory I shocked him with my indignation. The subject was too personal to share. My reaction was shameful. The subject was carefully avoided.

Now he observed me winding my father's pocketwatch and I read hope in his expression. Perhaps the time has come.

'Holmes, let me tell you about my brother...'
