‘Watson, where in London did you live as a student?’
‘I shared a flat on Catherine Street near Covent Garden with another medical student. It was close to King’s College and King’s College Hospital where I studied, and Bart’s, where I did my practicum, and within half an hour’s walk. Why do you ask?’
‘I lived there,’ Holmes said indicating the only house on Montague Street with mismatched windows and a discreet “For Let” sign on the door.
‘It’s lovely. Why did you move house?’
‘There was a little accident, and then I shifted my research from combustibles to blood.’

Supplementary Notes:
'When I first came up to London I had rooms in Montague Street, just round the corner from the British Museum, and there I waited, filling in my too abundant leisure time by studying all those branches of science which might make me more efficient.' - Sherlock Holmes, The Adventure of the Musgrave Ritual
This concludes the July Writing Prompts for 2020. If you are interested, my Masterlist is here.
