‘Holmes, where have you been?’ Dr Watson demanded.

‘Really, Doctor, you are still feverish. I had to leave you here,’

‘How long have you been gone?’

‘I realise you are frustrated at being ill, but I didn't expect this kind of Spanish Inquisition!

Three men, resplendent in their scarlet robes burst into the room.

‘Nobody expects the Spanish Inquisition!’ they exclaimed.

While Cardinals Ximénez and Fang interrogated the detective, Cardinal Biggles gently took Watson’s elbow and guided him back into the sitting room.

‘Doctor, your fever is raging. Have a seat in the comfy chair.’

‘No! Not the comfy chair!'

It's hard to do a crossover in a 100-word drabble!
I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I'm pleased that this brought a smile and I hope you do not get in trouble, but what does 'woke the cake' mean?

It means I should not try typing before coffee *headdesk*

I woke the cat. CAT. The hyper, purring little bugger who is now literally bouncing off walls.

I love Python crossover!! I love you too, haha.

IDK, in my mind, Mycroft is amount one of the sly Inquisitor, in fact he would be Michael Palin XD.

Thanks for the wonderful crack!

Okay... 'Cat' makes more sense... but visually, 'Cake' would make a better story (especially a vicious cake... something likened to 'Strangling Spaghetti')!

Maybe a cake like this one?

(Why yes, I did spend too much time on youtube looking at Swedish Chef clips, why do you ask?)

Only when you've watched so many you find yourself singing his theme song (including the "Börk, börk, börk!") in the supermarket and realize there are people staring at you.....

Their three main weapons are:
fear, surprise, ruthless efficiency, an almost fanatical devotion to the Pope, and nice red uniforms

(Obviously borrowed from Monty Python)

Thank you for the lovely compliments!
If I had to choose, Michael Palin would be my favourite Python!

Unexpected others, indeed! Bloody fantastic little fic, but now I'll be stuck with this big goofy grin on my face for the rest of the evening... Nuts.
(Bravo, Capt. Facepalm!)

Straight to the comfy chair for Watson, eh? They obviously knew that he could withstand the cushions any day. No pussy-footing around when The Spanish Inquisition is involved.

(PS| How long has it been since I extolled your awesomeness? Too long, clearly.)

Poor Fever!Watson!
Things are not the way he perceives them. Holmes was right to leave him at home.

Thanks, as always, for your continued support!
