The news I bear should give you cause for hope.
I can confirm that John Watson’s body was not among those exhumed from the mass grave.
You should come to London and oversee the dossier I prepared since more information has been discovered. Witnesses accuse one Johannes Steigler of the atrocity at Field Hospital 15.
Do not let your pride prevent you from accepting my assistance. I know how much this means to you. There are useful contacts in the War Office, and elsewhere, who are still indebted to me.
