Of course the 2002 Hound with Ian Hart is a favourite. Here are the usual reasons:
- mentally and physically capable Watson
- super-BAMF Watson
- billiards sharp Watson
- Dr Mortimer makes me smirk (I liked Granada Mortimer better. He was closer to canon)
- Low budget CGI hell-hound (nice try, but seriously, Daleks are scarier, and I mean Tom Baker Daleks)
- Stapleton... oh yes, he is deliciously EVIL (so smarmy, so ingratiating, so bogged-down)
