The consulting detective lowered his magnifying lens and replied. ‘Ahh, Watson. I have been examining it to see if it would make a suitable fruit bowl.’

‘A fruit bowl? What? No!. You have already ruined my slippers…’

‘I was trying to teach Toby to fetch them for you. It’s not my fault he chewed one of them to bits.’

‘Dogs chew, Holmes. It's their raison d'être. You use the remaining one as your tobacco pouch.’

‘Can you think of another use for a singular slipper?’

‘Just give me back my fez.’

Also . . . how in the name of Queen Victoria did you manage to make Watson's expression so badass in the second picture? Or am I just projecting?

You must be projecting! It is the very same character face in both images. Although, put a gun in someone's hand and they immediately look more menacing. Also, Holmes' expression in the second image adds to the threat. Our subconscious fills in the details when we look (but do not observe). Yay, brains!
